The Calgary area is served by the Calgary International (YYC) airport. Here is some information on how to get to the city of Calgary and srrounding areas:
To get from YYC to downtown Calgary
- Take the #57 to the Red Line train service
- The cost is $2.25; go to Berth #20 at the arrivals area. Remember to ask the driver for a transfer to the Red Line. Total time is about 30 minutes.
- There is no discount for airline employees.
- Take the Airport Shuttle
- The cost to get to a downtown hotel is $6.00 with your airline ID; the regular cost is $12.00. If you have to go to a specific address, then you receive a $2.00 discount of the price.
- Naturally, you can always take a cab, but it will be more expensive. Just follow the airport signs to the cab stand and tell the agent where you are heading or just stand on the cab line.
