The Chicago Area is served by three commercial airports; Chicago-Gary (GYY), Chicago-Midway (MDW) and Chicago-O'Hare (ORD). Use the Trip Planner to plan your tour around the city.
- Chicago-Gary (GYY)

- Chicago-Midway (MDW)
- Details information about ground transportation from MDW can be found here.
- Take the Orange Line to the city (State or Clark stop). The journey time is about 30 minutes. Here is a map of the Chicago Transit Authority subway system.
- Continental Airport Shuttle goes from MDW to downtown Chicago and operates from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every 15 minutes. The cost is $16.00 at the time of this writing. They can be contacted at 1-312-454-7800 or 1-800-654-7871.
- Coach USA Wisconsin has hourly service MDW and ORD from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. At the time of this writing the one way cost is $13.00 and round trip is $23.00. Journey time is about an hour or so. They can be contacted at 1-877-324-7767.
- Omega Airport Shuttle has hourly service MDW and ORD from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. At the time of this writing the cost is $15.00. Journey time is about an hour or so. They can be contacted at 1-773-483-6643.

- Chicago/ O'Hare (ORD)
- Details information about ground transportation from ORD can be found here
- Take the Blue Line to the city (Clark stop). The journey time is about 45 minutes and cost $2.00 at the time of this writing. The train runs 24 hours. Additional information can be found here. Check out their Web site for a map.
- Continental Airport Shuttle goes from ORD to downtown Chicago and operates from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. about every 5 to 10 minutes. The cost is $17.50 at the time of this writing. They can be contacted at 1-312-454-7800 or 1-800-654-7871.

- Naturally, you can always take a cab, but it will be more expensive. Just follow the airport signs to the cab stand and tell the agent where you are heading.
