Hints and information on how to efficiently navigate the San Antonio, Texas area.

The San Antonio area is served by the San Antonio International Airport. Here is some information on how to get from the airport:
- San Antonio International (SAT)
- Take the #2 Blanco bus operated by VIA towards downtown. At the time of this writing, the fare is $0.80. You can view a schedule here [PDF reader required]. Travel time is just under an hour.
- There are also shared ride shuttles operated by SATRANS that cost $12.00 one way and $22.00 round trip for a ride to the downtown hotels. You may contact them a t 1-210-281-9900. They operate from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily. They also operate to other San Antonio area destinations. Here is a coupon that expires on December 31, 2005. It save $1.00 each way.
- There are no discounts for airline employees.
- Naturally, you can always take a cab, but it will be more expensive. Just follow the airport signs to the cab stand and tell the agent where you are heading or just stand on the cab line.
