Accommodations

There are many ways to find and book hotels when you travel. As you know, as Passriders, it’s a little different for us since we don’t know for sure if we will make the flight. This page shows different options to consider. Feel free to leave a comment below and share other options as well.

Also, remember that when you book with the online agencies most hotels won’t give you any credit in their loyalty programs. So ensure that you check that first with the hotel’s program.

In addition, if you book directly, check the cancellation times. Most hotels no longer have 6p same day cancellations without a charge, but that has changed now to typically 24 hours.

Note: Some of these links are affiliate links. This means if you use them, I may get a small commission from the booking.

Agoda

This agency is very large in Asia, so if you’re looking for a place to stay in Asia, start here.

Booking.com

They will give you good deals around the world, but primarily in Europe they have much better rates.

HotelsCombined

This hotel booking source compares many of the online agencies all in one place. It will also sometimes take you to the hotel’s Web site to book the room.

Hotel Credit Cards

You've told me that finding a hotel is the second most difficult task for you. As such, I've listed a few options on this page to help you. Some of you have your favorites; hopefully these choices will help. Please let me know if this information is helpful and if I can add something else here for you.
Remember to join the loyalty programs of all the hotel properties as the more loyal you are the more free stays you will earn. Check the rules about booking on their web sites as opposed to using a site for an online travel agent or otherwise.
I've also listed some hotel credit offers below that you may find interesting.
Airbnb - If you've not yet signed up, you can do so using my link and you will get a $40 credit which you can use when you book. It's just another tool in your Passrider Toolkit when you travel.

Hotel Tonight - If you sign up with HotelTonight and use my code kmckenzie15, you get $25 off your first hotel booking and I will get a $25 credit as well. So we both win.
