The Boeing 737 MAX

 

The Boeing 737 MAX was launched in 2017. To date, there’s been two accidents involving the aircraft. Unfortunately, all passengers onboard did not survive.

One was LionAir 610 and the other is Ethiopian Airlines 302. Both of these accidents involved the Boeing 737 MAX 8 type.

There are several variants of the Boeing 737 MAX; not all are flying just yet.

  • Boeing 737 MAX 7 (7M7)
  • Boeing 737 MAX 8 (7M8)
  • Boeing MAX 200 (high density, will launch with Ryanair in April 2019)
  • Boeing 737 MAX 9 (7M9)
  • Boeing 737 MAX 10 (not yet being flown).
