Lincoln Christmas Market
Lincoln Christmas Market | Manchester Christmas Market
In keeping with the Christmas Markets in Europe, here is a photo essay of the one in Lincoln, United Kingdom; The Lincoln Christmas Market. – You can fly into any of the major U.K. airports, then take a local train to Lincoln.
The trains may be a tad pricey as this is one of the bigger Markets in the U.K. The closest airport for a U.S. carrier is Manchester (MAN), but you may also do Birmingham (BHX). This year (2018) it starts on December 6 and runs until the 9th.
I stayed at the local Holiday Inn. You can find a hotel by using my hotel partner at https://www.passrider.com/hotelscombined.

Lincoln Christmas Market Inside Lincoln Cathedral. They offer a Tour of the castle. A must do if you ever visit.

Lincoln Christmas Market Way Out. It took about 10 minutes to get out of the Castle area where the main part of the market was housed. My mobile phone did not work as there was so many people.

Kevin, I have not heard of the Lincoln Christmas Market and will put it on my travel list. Can’t wait to go there. I love reading about all your travel ideas and know that you work very hard presenting the latest information. Thanks a bunch.
I have heard that there is an way to fly from the US to Europe going through Canada where we can take a friend on a Buddy Pass. Do you know anything about this?
Thanks,
Kay

Hi Kay,
Good deal. It’s a lovely town and a great place to visit.
Thank you; I appreciate your comment!
I don’t know about what you are referring.
Buddy pass rules are on an airline by airline basis. So some airlines may allow you to use a buddy pass or a regular pass for a non-airline employee on a partner carrier. Just have a word with your airline’s pass bureau on what you want to do and they will let you know.
Good luck and thank you for your support.
