La Compagnie flies nonstop from Newark-Liberty, NJ (EWR) to Paris-Orly, France (ORY), Nice, France (NCE) and Milan-Malpensa (MXP), and it has announced a fourth route, Newark to Düsseldorf, Germany (DUS), for Spring 2027 with up to five flights a week. Every seat on every flight is business class. There is no economy cabin, and Newark is the airline’s only U.S. gateway.
La Compagnie announced on September 7, 2026 that it will add Düsseldorf to its network in Spring 2027. That makes it a good time to lay out the whole airline in one place: where it flies today, how often, on what aircraft, and what all of this means if you travel on a pass.
The schedule details below come from the schedule data behind the Passrider.com flight schedule search, pulled for the week of September 14, 2026, plus a look ahead at the winter Nice schedule. The Düsseldorf details come from the airline’s announcement.
What is La Compagnie?
La Compagnie is a French airline that launched in 2014 and has flown Newark to Paris Orly since day one. It added Nice in 2019 and Milan Malpensa in 2022. The entire aircraft is business class. Its Airbus A321neo aircraft has just 76 seats in a 2-2 layout, and every seat converts into a fully flat bed.
The airline says the onboard product includes complimentary gate-to-gate unlimited Wi-Fi, seasonal menus paired with French wines and Champagne, a generous baggage allowance and amenity kits. On the ground, passengers get lounge access at every airport, including Lounge&Co, the airline’s own private lounge at Newark, which it recently renovated.

Newark to Paris-Orly
This is the original route and the only one that runs daily in both directions. The flight leaves Newark at 7:00 PM and lands at Orly at 8:40 AM the next morning. Coming home, the flight leaves Orly at 10:30 AM Monday through Saturday, and on Sundays it goes out at 2:45 PM instead. Orly is the airline’s Paris airport, not Charles de Gaulle, which matters if you are connecting on to another flight or planning your train into the city.
Newark to Nice
Five flights a week in each direction in September. Outbound flights leave Newark at 8:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive in Nice at 10:40 AM the next day. The return leaves Nice at 12:25 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Historically this was a summer-only route. The airline says it is extending Nice into the winter season for the first time, and schedule data for the week of January 11, 2027 shows the flight operating twice a week, on Monday and Thursday, leaving Newark at 8:30 PM.
Newark to Milan-Malpensa
The Milan flight runs daily in September, but on a split schedule. On Monday, Thursday and Saturday it leaves Newark at 9:30 PM; on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday it leaves at 8:30 PM. The return from Malpensa leaves at 12:25 PM on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and at 1:25 PM on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
What is new: Newark to Düsseldorf in Spring 2027
La Compagnie says it will begin nonstop service between Newark and Düsseldorf in Spring 2027, operating up to five times a week during the summer season on a new Airbus A321neo LR. When it launches, the airline says it will be the only carrier flying nonstop between New York and Düsseldorf.
Düsseldorf is the largest airport in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous state, and the airline is leaning on the business case: it says more than 24,000 international companies are based in the state, including about 1,700 U.S. companies, and that the United States is the state’s most important non-European export market. Düsseldorf is also one of the world’s biggest trade show cities. For leisure travelers, the airline points to the Rhineland’s towns, vineyards, castles and Rhine river cruises, and to the airport’s proximity to the Netherlands and Belgium.
At Düsseldorf, La Compagnie passengers will use the DUS Sky Lounge in Pier C. At Newark they get Lounge&Co.
What does this mean for non-revs?
First, check your agreement for traveling on this airline.
There is no economy cabin to fall back on as every La Compagnie flight is 76 business class seats, or fewer if it is not the A321neo that day.
Newark is the only US city served. All four routes, including Düsseldorf, run from EWR. Newark is a United hub, so plan your positioning flight and your backup with that in mind. Build in time. The evening departures (7:00 PM to Orly, 8:30 PM to Nice and Milan) leave room for a same-day positioning flight, but a delay on your inbound eats that buffer fast.
Know your Paris airports. La Compagnie uses Orly, not Charles de Gaulle. If your plan is to list on a legacy carrier out of CDG as a backup, you are changing airports across Paris. Check the ground transfer time.
Watch the days of the week. Only Paris-Orly runs daily. Nice is five days a week in September and just Monday and Thursday in January. Milan runs daily but the departure time moves between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM depending on the day. Düsseldorf will be up to five a week, summer season only. If you miss the flight, the next one may not be tomorrow.
Düsseldorf as a gateway. Even if you never ride La Compagnie, this route tells you something about demand. The airline is betting on business travel between New York and the Rhine-Ruhr region. For non-revs, DUS is a large airport with connections across Europe, and the airline itself points out how close it is to the Netherlands and Belgium. If you are heading to Cologne, Amsterdam or Brussels, keep DUS on your list of arrival airports when the flights start.
Confirm before you go. Schedules in this post are a snapshot for the week of September 14, 2026 and the week of January 11, 2027. Run your own search on Passrider.com flight schedule search before you list, and check the airline’s website for the Düsseldorf launch date once it is confirmed.
