The Comprehensive Guide To Male Minority Travel Influencers/Content Creators
It’s extremely important to hear different perspectives in the travel space as our view points and experiences are a product of who we are and from whence we came.
The Male Minority voice is often not heard in the travel industry. Perhaps its our fault or maybe not…
So I’m attempting to fix that today, by sharing a list of male minority travel influencers worldwide. There is no ranking as its not a competition; the list is alphabetic.
I’ve met some of these fine gentlemen and others have been referred to me. You will find that our experiences are as varied as how we look and that we are from all over the world.
My goal is to expose you to us, so you may see how we travel and hopefully, we will inspire you to do the same.
Feel free to share the list as you deem necessary. Also, if I’ve missed anyone you know please send me an email or leave a comment below.

DeNorris Johnson runs the blog Travel and Truth. He’s born and raised in Atlanta, GA, he was one of those guys who rarely left the city limits. Oddly enough, he never stepped foot in an airport until he went to college and didn’t get a passport until he was 24.
He always wanted to travel to the places he saw on TV and promised himself that he would save as much money as possible to make his travels a reality. He did anything and everything to save money; from driving a beat-up car around Atlanta for years, to still holding on to his flip phone years after everyone graduated to smart phones. It paid off and he started traveling.
Travel and Truth is his visual platform, which showcases his travels throughout Africa and the African Diaspora. For decades, Africa and the Diaspora have been portrayed as full of poverty, crime, terrorism, Ebola, AIDS, and people living in huts with no history.
Travel and Truth aims to portray the Africa and Diaspora that DeNorris experiences while backpacking: A land full of rich culture, adventure, modern cities, beautiful scenery, tons of fascinating history, and beautiful people.

Brian Oliver – Beyond Bmore
Brian Oliver was born and raised on the west side of Baltimore, Maryland. He’s a graduate of Baltimore City College High School and Towson University with a B.S. in Political Science.
His love for travel and empowerment began as a young boy. Many days were spent following behind and riding in the car with his grandfather on various local and domestic journeys, as he carried out his duties as a minister.
The excitement of seeing new places, meeting new people and observing the cultural differences that existed right in my local communities, as well as the nation at large was unshakable. As he grew older and began to travel more domestically (U.S.) on my own and with friends, the beast obsessed with adventure continued to grow.
Once he eventually realized that the myths of international travel being very expensive and difficult to pursue were false, it was all she wrote. One passport stamp has lead to another and the quest to see the world and enrich the lives of those around him continues.
