How does it work?
The Saudi Arabia Stopover with flynas and Saudi allows you to stop in Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours when flying via Saudi Arabia to/from its destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. There is no additional airfare as long as you adhere to the rules of the stopover. You may stop on your way from your origin outside of Saudi Arabia or on your return journey.
This is a great way to get a taste of the country and what it has to offer. the tourism board’s hope is that you’ll like it and then the next time you will make Saudi Arabia your destination.
A visa is required, but the cost is waived. Medical insurance and administrative fees may be required depending on the airline used. They also offer one night’s free accommodation.

Enjoy the stopover visa program with SAUDIA, which allows you to book your flight through our digital channels and stop for up to 96 hours with a free stay for one day, during which you can perform Umrah, visit holy sites, visit tourist and historical places, and other wonderful activities. In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have made it possible for you to obtain a stopover visa immediately during the booking process.

- Cabins – Saudia has the following cabins of service; Saudia First Suite, Business Class and Guest Class. This will vary by aircraft types and routes flown.

- Dining – The level of indulgence varies by cabin and route.
- In-Flight Entertainment – Audio/Video on demand is available on select airplanes, plus music, games and Wifi on select airplanes and select destinations are also available. In-seat power is available on select aircraft types and cabins as well.

- Frequent Flyer Information – The Saudia program is called ALFURSAN. The tiers of the program are: Blue, Silver and Gold. Ensure you become a member if you are not already one as every mile counts. Saudia is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance so you have a number of other airlines on whom you can earn and use your miles. Remember that for the Stopover program you must fly on flights that are operated by Saudia only.
- Lounges – Saudia has the Alfursan Lounge which gives access by cabin of service (First and Business class), frequent flyer level (Gold and Silver) as well as SkyTeam membership level.
