Paris, was actually named after the other Paris that is located in France. Like most towns in Texas, they survived due to the railroad passing through them. So, yes, Paris had a Union Station too.
As you drive into Paris, Texas, you will pass this huge sign on the side of the road. it’s a little bit recessed off the road, so I almost missed it.
The city’s downtown is quite old and have much to see in the historic section. Although, its nothing like the other Paris, it’s worth a visit just to see the local Eiffel Tower, just outside of town.

The number one thing to do in Paris is to see the Eiffel Tower. This is no ordinary Eiffel Tower though as this one sports a red cowboy hat!
