Gulf Air Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner In Retro Livery

At the 2021 Dubai Airshow, there were many commercial aircraft on display. One of them was the Gulf Air Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which was painted in a retro Gulf Air livery celebrating their 70th anniversary. Let’s take a look at it.

Overview

  • Business Class: 2-2-2
  • Economy Class Configuration: 3-3-3

Gulf Air is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain and celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2020 having been founded in 1950.

They don’t yet fly to the U.S., but hopefully soon. They actually did many years ago. They fly to Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

Gulf Air has alliances with American Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Aegean to name a few, but are not part of the big three alliances.

Have you flown Gulf Air? Have you flown the 787?

Here’s a video of the airplane.
