Fiji Airways (JF) announces that it will acquire two new Airbus A350 XWB
May 2, 2019.
Fiji Airways, a member of the oneworld Connect program in the oneworld Alliance, will acquire two new Airbus A350 XWB. This is part of its widebody aircraft expansion plans specifically for serving the U.S. markets.
The primary use of these new A350s will be from Australia and Nadi, Fiji to/from the U.S. Delivery of the new A350 XWB aircraft is scheduled for November and December this year.
The new Airbus A350 will feature 33 fully lie-flat Business Class seats, with each offering direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 configuration. In Economy Class there will be 301 seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.
It will have a state of the art entertainment system which will include Wifi.
If your airline has an agreement with Fiji Airways, this will be a more comfortable way to get to Fiji from the U.S. You can use the Flight Schedule program for flight times; remember deliveries are in November and December so they may not show in the schedules just yet. The routes are currently being flown by Airbus A330s.
Fiji Airways serves Honolulu, HI (HNL), Los Angeles, CA (LAX) and San Francisco, CA (SFO) from its hub in Nadi, Fiji (NAN). Contact them via their 24-hour reservations numbers or you can find them online at https://www.fijiairways.com/en-us/.
